Close towards freedom and trying to find closure. Still wanting to hold onto something and trying to find what made sense out of it all, even if that little bit was sporadic. But the overall desire to wander the world on your own and let the nighttime sky drown the burning bridge's flames into impartial darkness.

interpretations are a wonderful thing.

That's why, on the odd note I've read a book that's recent, and I talk to someone about it and they've read it, we both have different interpretations of the same thing.

Same thing with anime series. My friend and I were talking about Elfen Lied and the past of the 13 year old orphan. He wondered if, since the rest of the series was great, why did they show that? I said maybe it's to bring a voice to children like that are actually going through this, showing them that this can and will stop.
